After leading for much of the game Preston trailed in the fourth but Braden Hess tied the game 36-36 with under a minute to play. He then fouled the Knights who missed both free throws. Preston missed their bucket on the other end but Brecker Knapp cleared the rebound and was fouled with 14 seconds left. Hess came up big for the Indians with a bucket making it 38-36. Bishop Kelley had 1.3 seconds to make something happen. As they hucked it down the court Preston tipped it away for the win making it their sixth straight trip to the finals.
