I attended the Brigham City Council meeting on 7-18-2024 to hand out the Box Elder Committee of Liberty’s Petition for Redress of Grievances and two copies of the booklets explaining in greater detail the unconstitutional “visioning process.” Remember, nowhere in the founding documents is there authority for any level of government to design and dictate the structure or character of a community.

I handed a Redress of Grievance to Council member Matthew Jensen and he immediately threw it in the garbage. He did not like it when I called him out for violating my first amendment right to freedom of speech in my editorial. He also said I was full of s**t. No, just full of both Constitutions. He was not the only one to say no because I was not allowed to speak, he was just the first one I noticed to say, “no.” It is important to speak during the public meeting so that you are publicly recorded. Emails, phone calls, text messages can be easily ignored, erased or blocked.
