As of 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, is winning the Republican primary nomination for U.S. House in Utah's 1st Congressional District.
Unofficial results in in Cache County, with zero precincts reporting, Moore was leading Republican Paul Miller by 6,626 votes or 75.24% of the votes for Moore as opposed to Miller with 24.76%.
Incumbent Utah Republican Gov. Spencer J. Cox was leading opponent Phil Lyman by with 62.8 percent of the vote in Cache County or 8,309 votes with Lyman garnering 37.7% of the vote or 5,033 votes.
In the attorney general's race, Republican Candidate Derek Brown was leading among Cache County voters with 43.78% of the vote or 5,641 votes. In a close race, Republican Candidate Rachel Terry garnered 4,888 votes in Cache County or 37.93% of the vote, followed by Republican Candidate Frank Demcy Mylar with 18.29% of Cache County votes or 2,357 votes.
In the race for state auditor, Republican Candidate Tina Cannon was leading among Cache County voters with 62.60% of the vote or 7,903 votes followed by Ricky Hatch with 37.40% of the vote or 4,722 Cache County votes.
In the race for State House 2, Michael Petersen was leading candidate Mike Monson with 58.18% of Cache County Voters or 2,883 votes compared with 41.82% of the vote or 2,072 votes.
All the results are unofficial. Check back with hjnews.com for further updates on Wednesday. Cache County Elections officials said there will be no further updates Tuesday evening.
