Summer is just around the corner and it’s time for Cache Valley to strut her stuff.
If anyone says there isn’t anything to do around here, you need to get out of bed!

This summer is packed full of events…and many of them are free. I’ll put my focus on the Tabernacle Summer Noon Concerts. These concerts feature top musical talent, inspirational speakers, theatre, and even our own International famous magician Richard Hatch. What a slate of talent Cache Valley has to offer. We are so fortunate!
When we first moved here 10 years ago, I thought the Tabernacle concerts were just for “The Mormons” and didn’t think us Catholics could go there…unless we were interested in converting! I was totally wrong. A friend invited me to attend some musical events and I was blown away. Long story short, I am currently the coordinator for the Tabernacle Summer Noon Concerts and it has been a fantastic experience.
I know many people who even live in the valley who either aren’t aware of these concerts or have some of the same misconceptions I had. So I’m trying to get the word out.
These concerts are:
No. 1: Not only for the summer citizens who come here every year to enjoy our “cooler 100 temperatures” compared to the hotter more southern states and their “110+ deg. Temperatures”. They are also for our own community and for anyone and everyone!
No. 2: They aren’t about what church you go to but what you have to offer to enhance our programs. It can be through our performers, people hosting by offering the welcome and giving the announcements, greeters and attendees. It truly is a comfortable, community atmosphere.
The concerts begin on Memorial Day May 26 thru July 31st. The first concert will be held at the USU Daines Performance Hall. All other noon concerts will be at the Tabernacle, noon to 1:00. Along with the City of Logan we also sponsor four evening concerts on the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza. For the scheduled performances and more information about the performers and events visit logantabernacle.com Come and take some time to get away from some of the world’s messiness. It’ll do your heart good!
