Our larger than life husband, father, son, brother, uncle & dear friend to many died tragically on December 20, 2022. Tyler leaves behind his earthly pride & joy, his beautiful bride Brittany Burgin, his children, Caden & Kenzie, Drake, Zayden, Teagen, Zoe & their little Lyla. Tyler was a devoted family man through & through & took great joy in leading his special family. He was a lover of all things music. From pianos to bagpipes, ukuleles to vocals, he was a very skilled & talented musician. His home was always filled with music which was a family affair & of course, barking Corgis. Tyler was a spiritual man with a deep & profound relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ. Tyler took every opportunity to testify of his great faith in Him. He will be sincerely missed but there is no doubt he will be rooting for us as he awaits us on the other side! He enjoyed making fun new meals, all things outdoors & aviation, memorable trips with his family & had a unique natural ability to excel at anything he put his heart into. After graduating high school, Tyler followed his love of helicopters all the way to Afghanistan where he honorably served in the US Army. After returning home, he found another skill, this time in business, where he eventually became a successful entrepreneur. He often tried to share that knowledge to the people he cared about most. Tyler & his family began the journey of self-reliance on land they dubbed Corgizstan. Learning how to process poultry and raise his own livestock, his family and friends grew a new admiration and reverence for the blood, sweat and tears involved in food production. He is survived by his siblings, Mike, Dustin, Megan (Tyler), Aaron (Shanae), Katie (Ryan), Rachel, Paige & his parents Leslie & Mike Stevens. He was preceded in death by his little brother Scotty & a wide array of friends. "Our family is defined by love not blood" A Funeral service will be held Tuesday January 3, at 1:00 pm at Allen Mortuary of North Logan, 420 E 1800 N, North Logan, Utah 84341. If Tyler considered you family, there will be a viewing one hour before the service at 12pm. There will be time during the service to share stories and memories of him.

Merry Christmas is a standard greeting this time of year; a greeting that is often said without considering the etymology of the words. Howeve…

Jacob Eddie Steed 10/9/1983- 11/24/2022 Our sweet son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on November 24th in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He was born in Logan, Utah. Jake was loved so very much. He was born with cerebral palsy, yet he did not let that stop him from living his life the very best he could. Jake grew up in Providence, Utah and attended school at River Heights Elementary, Spring Creek Middle School and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. He brought so much joy to his family, and everyone he met. He always had a smile, and would be clapping to show his excitement for life. Jake thought he was a comedian and would crack up laughing to himself by tugging our hair as we walked by, or putting his feet up on our lap if we sat down by him. He thought he was the funniest guy ever. Jake was quite the character. He loved to tease. He was known for his high fives and would always make sure to give you one. The moment any music came on, he would rock out, his favorite song was 'Wild Thing', he would go wild listening to it. He loved small cars, trucks, and stuffed animals. He loved food, and would have drank a gallon of milk a day if we would have let him. Jake was the definition of innocence. He had pure joy and true love. He was very close to his mama and Grandma Steed and he loved to be spoiled by them. He loved his family unconditionally. Jake will be missed every single day. We were lucky to have him in our lives, and for what he taught us in his lifetime. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Darla Steed. Grandma Edna Steed, Grandma Lorna and Grandpa Donoven Fife. Aunties Sheila, Carol, and Brenda. Uncles Bill, Corey, Ted, Don, Mike and Joe. He leaves behind many that loved him dearly. His father Ed (Sonjia), sister Chantel (Curt), brother Joshua. Nieces Marlie and Maya. Nephews Aden and Driggs. Sisters by heart Anastasia and Angie. Many cousins, Tammy loved him dearly. And so many friends he's made throughout his life. Our family would like to thank all of his caregivers, teachers and friends. We appreciate the care and love you gave to Jake. He loved each and every one of you. Family and friends will have a celebration of Jacobs life at later date. We love you Jake-a-bubba-boo-la-rah.

Debra Hughett Wilson passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022, at the age of 74, surrounded by her children. Debra was born in 1948 in Morristown, Tennessee to Harvey and Nellie (nee Berry) Hughett. Debra was continually generous and humble, with a quick sarcastic wit and amazing sense of humor. She weathered devastating challenges throughout her life: abuse, loss, duplicity and loneliness, but displayed a resilient fortitude and determination to keep those she loved close, safe and happy. She had the purest, biggest heart, showing selfless compassion and love to everyone around her with patience and forgiveness. In earlier years, she enjoyed writing poetry and stories, a talent which later graced birthday and Christmas cards for children and grandchildren. Facing life as a single parent for much of her children's youth, she worked tirelessly at demanding jobs and at home to provide for them materially and emotionally. All the while, she found ways to keep life fun and extraordinary with games, drives through the canyon, camping, rock hounding, hot springs, fairs and treasure hunts. One of her greatest joys was collecting antiques, curios, toys, jewelry and gadgets, and spoiling her family and friends with thoughtful, unique gifts. For most of the last twenty years, when she might have retired, she chose instead to provide in-home care and companionship to her aging mother. Everyone who had the opportunity to meet her, loved her, and we will, all of us, miss her. She will always be our hero. Debra leaves behind her husband George, children Conni (Ben) Lewis, Camille (Kyle) Singh-Johnson and Will (Sophia) Wilson, six grandchildren, sister Kathey (Bill) Boswell and brother Harvey (Cheryl) Hughett. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her brother John (Judy) Hughett. Memorial services will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 19, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center Street, Logan, UT. All who knew and loved Debra are invited to attend.
