Where we are situated

Stubicke Toplice are situated under the northern slopes of the Medvednica, in a gentle valley of the Hrvatsko Zagorje. They have mild climate and opulent forest vegetation and are about 30 km away from Zagreb.

Stubicke Toplice are situated in the Krapinsko-zagorska county. Special attraction to visiting them is a well-organized connection with the close and more distant surroundings. Railway and bus stations are very near, and the airport of Zagreb is 40 km away.

Water

Natural healing factor in Stubicke Toplice is thermal water, with its temperature of 69 degrees by the spring. According to the analysis and balnaeological classificaton made in 1997 in the Balnaeological laboratory of the Institute for physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, the water contains calcium ( Ca ), magnesium ( Mg ), hydrogen-carbonate ( HCO3 ), sulfate ( SO4 ). It is hypothermic and is distinguished by radioactivity of 3.16 Mache units.

Capacity

The special hospital offers free use of 340 beds in three buildings: the Maksimilijan, the Toplice and the latest Dijana, with the capacity of 63 beds. In modern premises of high standard, the rooms are single ones, double-bedded ones and suite rooms. All of them are equipped with a TV set and a telephone. In the Dijana building there are a TV lounge, a musical and visual arts workshop and a trendily equipped fitness centre.

Nature

The beauty of landscape and the opulence of healing springs are accompanied by pleasant climate. The whole picture of Stubicke Toplice is completed by beautiful walking paths in the area. At the slopes around the area you can see vineyard cottages and vineyards, proofs of love and diligence of people living in this beautiful locality.
